Simple CPD Plan for Category 1: Group Learning

Level 1 Passive activities (1 credit/hour). Level 2 Interactive activities (2 credits/hour). The ANZCA CPD program requires 10 credits per annum or 30 credits per triennium for this category.

 (choose one recipe to suit "Category 1" activities for this year)

• Recipe 1. Attend a one day CME meeting with 4 hours of lectures in the morning (4 credits) and three hours of workshops or small group discussions in the afternoon (6 credits)– CATEGORY 1 COMPLETED (keep receipt and enter to CPD portfolio online including details of workshops)

• Recipe 2. Attend four hours of local CME meetings (4 credits) and then log onto the ASA iamonline website and complete three hours of iamonline case studies online. (6 credits)– CATEGORY 1 COMPLETED (keep meeting minutes and diary of iamonline case studies)

• Recipe 3. Visit the iamonline case studies online site for 2 credits/hour. Read about the cases and enter your anonysmous comments for discussion every second month except in summer holiday period. Five visits of one hour  = CATEGORY 1 COMPLETED (keep diary of iamonline case studies or enter details of your visit on the CPD website)

• Recipe 4. Choose any ingredients from the above recipes and blend to form your own 10 credit points.
